About Ben

Hi there! I’m Ben, a photographer who’s lucky enough to call both Staffordshire & North Wales home. I grew up in Staffordshire, studied at Bangor University, and have spent my adult life living across the North West. These days, I split my time between these two beautiful places.

My love for photography began at the age of 12, and I’ve been hooked ever since. (Though I’ll admit, it’s hard to believe I’m now in my early 40s!) Photography has been my full-time passion and career, allowing me to specialise in weddings,, portraiture, & commercial photography. I also have a soft spot for landscapes & outdoor portraits, capturing the raw beauty of the natural world and the people who cherish it. Over the years, I’ve expanded into videography & social media content creation too.

If you’re considering working with me for your wedding or any project, you’ll find I’m flexible and love blending styles. Whether it’s natural, candid moments or carefully arranged group shots, I adapt to my clients' preferences. Personally, I adore the authenticity of candid photography, and that’s what many of my clients love as well.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m out in nature, walking my dog, exploring the wilderness, and recharging in the great outdoors. My camper van is both my escape & often my workspace—perfect for adventuring off the beaten track and finding inspiration for my art. When at home I'm often tinkering with my van, DIY projects, gaming & reading.

Recently, I’ve rediscovered my passion for landscape photography. While I’ve dabbled in it over the years, I’m now diving deeper into this creative area, capturing the incredible beauty of our planet in new ways.
